Challenge

The 30-year-old e-commerce fashion retailer wanted to break into new digital channels to reach existing and new customers alike. Venus approached Milk Agency to concept and produce their first-ever CTV ad that encapsulated the energy and ethos of the company, while infusing the creative with a fresh perspective to push the brand into a new creative territory. 

Solution

Leveraging the Venus URL, VENUS.COM, we built a concept playing up the array of personalities, individuality, and style of the Venus woman—VENUS.PLAY, VENUS.CHILL, VENUS.CELEBRATE. We worked with a diverse cast of women of different races, ages, body shapes and sizes and captured the women in a range of scenarios and locations to represent the Venus woman. The result was a 30-second spot that explored a new direction for the Venus brand.

The success of our collaborative partnership led to a larger campaign, extending to an OOH campaign in several smaller target markets including St. Louis, Orlando, and Denver. Utilizing the concept of the CTV ad, we created localized traditional billboards, digital billboards, and radio scripts to be implement into the targeted media buy.
